1972 VeloSoleX S 3800

Available today, is this rather charming 1972 VeloSoleX S 3800. In period juices, as the French like to call it - original patina!
Bought as part of a collection in early December 2016. Transported from Wales shortly after. This VeloSolex 3800 has stood up ever since, awaiting the love and attention it deserves.
The 49cc engine runs and rides well, with prompt acceleration as soon as the stone is dropped onto the front tyre! Good Response from the throttle, de-compress levers and choke mechanisms all work as they should. They're are no mechanical noises to note, the engine reaches its 4000 Maximum RPM with ease, reaching its Top-Speed of 18.7MPH in good time. Simply pedal away to ease your MPG's!
Its condition is great for its age. With original VSX-05 Black paintwork creates quite the interest. (RAL 9017, Citroën AC101). Its plastics, seat and mud-flaps etc. are in fantastic condition and will benefit well from simple reconditioning. It has a period style number plate mount and rear lamp, which is a great addition to those wanting to use UK roads.
Chrome work on Rims, Handlebars and pedal cranks etc. have been painted in its time and now showing signs of wear which is to be understood for a bike of this age. The headlamp rim has been taped at some point in its life too.
